Dr Syed Altaf Noor Akhtar

Dr Syed Altaf Noor Akhtar is a highly accomplished clinical leader with a career spanning the NHS and private sectors. As Clinical Lead at St Ann’s Road Medical Centre, he oversees care for 16,000 patients, excelling in governance, safeguarding, palliative care, and cancer care. His leadership includes implementing best practices through clinical meetings and staff training.

Previously, as Clinical Director at a private practice in the prestigious Harley Street District in London, where he was responsible for managing operations across different sites in the United Kingdom. His expertise extends to compliance, service optimisation, and innovation in digital healthcare transformation. On a clinical level he has extensive experience in providing bespoke healthcare for VIP clients including those in the entertainment industry and executive staff in some of the world's largest companies.

An Imperial College London graduate with a BSc in Gastroenterology and Hepatology, he also earned a distinction in a Masters in Sports and Exercise Medicine at Queen Mary University. Dr Akhtar has conducted research in mental health in elite level professional athletes.

He has a personal interest in disease prevention, longevity, and lifestyle optimisation.
